Our classic French open-textured sourdough using a blend common in the Bordeaux region – almost all white flour with a sprinkling of rye and a hint of wholemeal to give an aerated light grey crumb. Our white sourdough culture give the loaf a mild creamy flavour and overnight proving helps to bring out the natural flavour of the grains.
This is our perennial bestseller and with good reason – I call it the bread equivalent of the little black dress – it never lets you down and goes with everything!
