Hot Cross Buns

The spicy Easter classic enriched with butter, eggs and milk for a moist and delicious bun. We add a little of our sourdough culture and prove them overnight to enhance the flavour. It’s always exciting when we start making these as we know Spring is on the way and they seen like the perfect indulgence after a long Winter. I tend to just toast and butter them but of course, Clotted Cream is always an option!
These freeze very well.



Ingredients: organic white FLOUR, wholewheat FLOUR, MILK, BUTTER, free-range EGGS, yeast, organic sugar, salt, sourdough culture made with organic white FLOUR, cinnamon, mixed spice, mixed peel, organic olive oil (SPAIN), mixed fruit, sunflower oil.
